And never cried or whined He was the brightest kid in school Got “A”’s on all his tests He made his parents oh so proud They said he was the best All thru grammar school, high school too He was top of his class Every challenge thrown his way He was sure to pass
When the boy did grauduate
He got into Harvard right quick But his parents were poor and couldn’t pay So the boy, he threw a fit He wanted oh so badly To attend university
